Reading History

I don't have much history in reading. My experience in reading is magazines in lobbies such as the dentist, stores, new stands etc... I've been told in the past I'm good at writing  maybe they entwine some how. I have memories of my father making me read aloud when I was 6 to 13 years of age.  It seems that after my parents split up i began to slack up on reading. I realize how important it is now that i want to start my own business. As our teacher said " You can tell how good you speak by how you write". Or something like that. My reading skill are not that great due to the fact I don't read often and when i do i read slow. I try digest every word i read. I don't like to skim through sentences. I hope this is enough history.... blah blah blah...

  1. It's enough history. It sounds like one of your parents encouraged reading and that's a good thing. I hope your experience in this class encourages you to read and write more often. If you want your reading speed to increase you need to read more often. If you think you read slowly due to other challenges let me know and we can work together to determine exactly what you need to do to increase your reading speed. I hope that's enough feedback, blah, blah, blah.....
